Board of trustees
Being a chess enthusiast, fan and a player for a long time, I was an active participant in the Lebanese chess Federation for many years between 1996 – 2002 where I served in the capacity of “Vice President of the Lebanese Chess Federation”. I was and still is a very big fan and supporter of Lebanon’s “Amicale Chess Club”  which is considered among the top tier Chess Clubs in Lebanon.
The club and its directors are making sure that Chess will continue to be an effective part of the Lebanese sports and social clubs through continuous constructive efforts such as holding international, regional and national tournaments and competitions, teaching and tutoring new and young promising talents and bringing international. World renown Grand Masters to train Lebanese Players.
We are totally and firmly convinced that Chess is a vital part of any country’s learning curve and maturing phase. Through Chess, the Lebanese young men and women can have a better understanding of issues that face them in life, better analysis of the different solutions ahead and hopefully better choice among those solutions.
Through efforts of making Chess a more accessible and a more popular game in Lebanon, we can motivate our minds and the minds of our young generations to challenge, quest, analyze and find plausible solutions for issues and problems of life that we all face constantly.
Thanks to Amicale Chess Club for this gesture wishing the club, its members, players and the directors continued success and prosperity.
